Overview of Our Refund Policy
EXTER FUNKY offers digital educational content in the form of online courses, downloadable guides, pattern sheets, and live consultation sessions. Because digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase and can be consumed in full shortly after, our refund policy is structured to balance student protection with the nature of digital goods.
We evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis and consider the following factors: date of purchase, extent of course content accessed, reason for the request, and prior refund history on your account.

If you have consumed more than 30% of a course's content and are still experiencing issues, please reach out to us at support@exterfunky.com. While refunds may not apply, we will work with you — including offering free access to supplementary materials, instructor check-ins, or a course credit — to make sure you succeed.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@exterfunky.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Order Number]"
- Include your full name, email address used at purchase, the course name, and a brief explanation of your reason for requesting a refund.
- Our support team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and review it against our policy criteria.
- If your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email and the refund will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
- If your request does not meet our eligibility criteria, our team will explain the decision and may offer an alternative resolution.
Refund requests submitted after the applicable window, or for non-eligible product types, will be declined. However, we encourage all students to reach out regardless — we want to find solutions that work for you.
Processing and Timeline
Once a refund is approved, the following timelines apply:
- Credit and Debit Cards: Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and will appear on your statement within 1–2 billing cycles depending on your card issuer.
- PayPal: Refunds are typically credited within 3–5 business days.
- Shop Pay / Installments: Refunds follow the terms of the installment provider. Outstanding installments will continue unless the provider adjusts the agreement.
- Store Credit: If you opt for a store credit rather than a refund, the credit will be applied to your account within 24 hours and does not expire.
EXTER FUNKY is not responsible for delays caused by your bank, card network, or payment provider. Refund amounts reflect the original purchase price paid; any currency conversion differences are outside our control.
Chargebacks and Disputes
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks can be resolved much faster and more efficiently through direct communication with our team.
Filing a chargeback against a purchase that is not eligible for a refund under this policy, or that has not been first submitted to us for review, may result in:
- Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account and access to all course content.
- Being flagged on our platform's fraud prevention system.
- Collection action for disputed amounts if the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or not merit-based.
If you initiate a chargeback in good faith for a legitimate issue, we will cooperate with the bank investigation and provide all relevant transaction records.
Course Access After Refund
Upon approval and processing of a refund, your access to the refunded course content will be immediately revoked. This includes:
- Video lesson access
- PDF guides and downloadable pattern sheets included with the course
- Instructor feedback and homework submission access
- Community forum threads and peer feedback associated with the course
Any downloaded materials should be deleted as per our Terms of Service. Your general account and access to other purchased courses will remain active unless there are separate grounds for account suspension.
Promotional and Bundle Purchases
Courses or products purchased at a promotional price, as part of a bundle, or using a discount code are subject to the same refund window but may receive a prorated refund reflecting the discounted price paid, not the standard retail price.
If a bundle is partially refunded (e.g., one course from a multi-course bundle), the refund amount will be calculated based on the individual component's value within the bundle, not the full bundle price.
Limited-time promotions and flash sales may include additional conditions. These will be stated clearly at the time of purchase. Please review all promotional terms before completing your order.
Technical Issues and Access Problems
If you experience technical difficulties accessing course content, we urge you to contact our support team at support@exterfunky.com before requesting a refund. In most cases, access issues can be resolved quickly.
EXTER FUNKY will not process refunds for temporary platform outages, browser incompatibility issues that are easily resolved, or internet connectivity problems on the user's end. However, if a sustained platform failure prevents access for more than 72 hours, we may offer an extension of your access window or a partial credit.
We test all course content across major browsers and devices before publication. If you encounter a technical bug or error in the course material itself, please report it with specifics so we can fix it for all students.
Modifications to This Policy
EXTER FUNKY reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to this page, with the "Last Updated" date revised accordingly. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern refund requests related to that purchase.
